Illinois River Snow Session

As a photographer, I am always looking for new areas to explore. While out walking my dog I found an adorable entrance to a little sandy area off the Illinois River. I was excited when Matthew and Jordan wanted to do a session there.

My favorite thing about doing couple sessions is I get to learn more about the couple, how they met, and their unique love story. Matthew and Jordan's love story is unique, charming, and adorable. Jordan quoted ," I met Mathew when I was 15 years old. We had a chemistry class together. We quickly became best friends and would do pretty much everything together. We both went our separate ways after high school and didn’t talk much due to busy schedules. After 4 years of not seeing each other, we ended up at the same social gathering. It felt like we hadn’t skipped a single beat and he was my high school friend again. A little more than a year later, he remains my best friend in the world and now holds a new title of my greatest love. It only took us 6 years to figure it all out."
